Since 1972 Perlane Sales has been a leading design and engineering source for some of the world's most reputable brands.

1972

PERLANE IS FOUNDED

Chet Perry and his wife, Paulie Lane started Perlane Sales as a manufacturer's rep organization. They represented the RIVNUT® by the BF Goodrich company.

1989

NEW PARTNERS

2 years later, Jim Seidell, Chris Seidell and Ken DeCrane purchased Perlane and became partners.

1987

A CHANGE OF HANDS

In 1987 the Perlane assets were sold to Mr. Herb Seidell and Mr. Ken DeCrane (RIVNUT® marketing Manager from BF Goodrich) was hired to manage the operations.

1989

ITW

In 1989 Perlane also introduced ITW Nexus to their product lines that they offered. 

1998

SOUTHCO

Perlane becomes a distributor for SouthCo and starts carrying enclosure hardware.

2015

ENTER CSG

Component Solutions Group purchased the majority shares of Perlane Sales and welcomes them to a new family of companies. 

2017

NORTH AMERICAN ENGINEERING

Perlane breaks into the northeast marketing and the Aerospace & Defense industry due to a joint venture with North American Engineering.

2016

INTO MICHIGAN

Perlane Sales expands into the Michigan Rivet nut market with a joint venture with G.J. Sunberg.

2019

BLUE GRASS MANUFACTURING

In 2019 we added Blue Grass Manufacturing to our family. They have been excelling at precision machined components along with custom assembly and sorting services since 1962.

1990

EXPANSION

From 1988-2005 Perlane is rapidly expanding! With the addition of specialty fasteners from ITW, SouthCo, Sherex and Industrial Rivet, they enter into new marketplaces.

2021

BUFAB

In 2022 our family of companies was acquired by the BUFAB Group out of Sweden. This only strengthened our product offerings, resources, and capabilities.
